Rosy Galloon
One of the most celebrated acts of the 1990s, Rosy Galloon featured Julie anne McCambridge and a menagerie of musicians who performed several concerts and recorded a four track demo. Three of the band are now members of the avant-garde kraut-rock tribute act Deep Fur, whilst the guitarist features on Julie anne's new album. After co-founder member Roz left to focus upon her classical concert repertoire, the band were renamed 'the Black Trombones' and played a now legendary gig at a Rastafarian Valentine's Night in Brixton. This was the last time that they performed together, however bassist Toby later joined Julie anne in her ill-fated duo 'the Dorothy Strain'.
